Atrox membawakan muzik Progresif Metal , tentunya dengan vokalis perempuan , secara muzikalnya pasti agak sukar untuk di dengar oleh mereka yang sudah biasa atau sebati dengan susunan muzik yang biasa ataupun mereka yang tak berapa minat dalam cabaran dalam mendengar sesuatu . Atrox is definitely not a new name in the scene. I always think of them as a promising act, yet never being able to achieve bigger recognition. Yet another 'cult-ish' act, I suggest. Well well, the new album it is; "Orgasm". None too familiar with their music before, but confident enough to say that those equally vocals trade-off between male and female is no longer in their repertoire. Monika was given an almost free hand in this aspect (and for the future too, yes I'm pretty sure). And she explains it a lot with her performance in "Orgasm", brilliantly playing with the ranges and depths of her gifted voice. There's no denying that music-wise, "Orgasm" is purely a musical extravaganza. Here's a bunch of talented musicians caressing their instruments like there's no tomorrow. Schizoid, ever-evolving, technically-opted; call it whatever you want. I'll stick with the word 'extravagant'. "Orgasm" is a delight for those who really loves music, and these are no brainless rantings.
